The procedure is performed by surgically replacing the root of the tooth with a titanium dental implant directly into the jaw bone. Endodontic Therapy, aka a Root Canal, can be the best way to treat infected teeth. The process involves using special instruments to remove the infected nerve tissue from inside of the tooth, cleaning the canal spaces and filling the spaces with a special material called gutta-purcha. This treatment allows you to restore your tooth without having to remove it due to infection.
